|Language of Instruction
|The main medium of instruction is English, however, English and Chinese provision are balanced. Chinese is taught with the same number of lessons as English and Maths. For Chinese, Putonghua is used as the medium of instruction where children are taught simplified characters but have exposure to traditional characters through extra-curricular activities and additional reading.
|Year 1 – Year 8. The starting age is 5 years old.
|The normal school hours are 8.00am – 3.00pm and the average school day includes 9 lessons. However, as part of their ECAs, children are encouraged to stay afterschool to participate in clubs from 3.00pm-5.00pm. If parents are worried about transportation home, Wycombe Abbey also provides school buses for those pupils staying afterschool.
