In Hong Kong:
- Playgroups are offered to children from 6 months to 3 Yrs old, with parents accompanying
- Pre-nursery programmes are provided for children from 2-3 Yrs old
- Kindergartens programmes (K1-K3) are provided for children from 3-6 years old

When To Start?
- Pre-Nursery/Preschool are set up to help children learn basic skills to prepare them for their next stage
- Kindergartens often adopt a more academic curriculum with a greater structure to the day, providing children a holistic development in both the emotional and physical realms
- Parents are recommended to start children in half-day classes (3 Hours) first, before transitioning them to full-day classes (7-8 Hours)
